Blood and Ore is the first multi-day adventure con of our LARP series “The World of the Convicts.”For one weekend, become a convict in the mining colony of Khorinis and experience the role-playing classic Gothic in a completely new way.

Free player roles (PC):
-Diggers, Shadows, Scrapers, Bandits, and Novices are free roles.
-Guards, Templars, Mercenaries, Mages and Gurus are GPC Roles (no Ore Barons yet!)
(Guided Player Characters. They are like normal PC but with leading roles or serve as quest givers and you have to apply for them).
-Each faction has 10–15 slots for higher roles
Accommodation PC/GPC in own tents / NPC Beds in the main-house
Catering: PC/GPC self-catering / NPC catering still to be confirmed

New Camp
All these years… all those years of effort, wasted!
We have dug, suffered, and endured. And yet, in the end, we are still here – still prisoners of this wretched Barrier. The Great Ritual was supposed to free us. It was meant to blow this damned Barrier apart! But the mages were wrong. Completely wrong. That cursed dome didn’t shatter at all – it grew even larger. And the consequences? All the ore we had gathered lost its magical power during the failed ritual of the Water Mages and became utterly useless. Worthless. But we will not simply give up! We will continue to mine ore, trade it with the other camps at the very least, and from now on we will provide for ourselves. We are not so easily broken!
And there are also the new territories…
With the expansion of the Barrier, new lands have become part of it. New areas with new resources! Besides the small farmstead (which quite obviously brews beer), there is also a nearby ravine of the highest interest. Whether it holds ore, other natural resources, or – in our case – a perfectly suited location for a new fortress.
Controlling this area would not only piss old Gomez off massively, it would also restore our own position of power. Especially since, with the expansion, the Exchange Place has moved further inland. A fortress near it would give us an ideal strategic foothold.
So the decision is made.
We will send an initial, battle-ready unit into the ravine. Their task is to scout, plan, and – if possible – keep the other camps away. Gomez must not, under any circumstances, get his hands on this ravine!

Ha! It’s absolutely laughable!
Those poor idiots from the New Camp actually managed to burn through all their ore. A bit of a shame about such fine ore, admittedly – but far more important is the result of this pointless witchcraft. Gomez didn’t hesitate for a moment when he heard about the expansion of the Barrier and had a few of the good bottles brought up from the cellar. All these new opportunities! All these new riches! And they’re right under our noses. We only need to reach out and take them. Not only would the small farm be a fitting expansion of our sphere of influence, but that ravine is also of the highest interest. I can practically smell the ore already. If we control the ravine and the farm, we will control almost all the ore in the Colony. And with that, no one will dare stand in our way. I think I should assign Thorus to send an appropriate unit there to secure the area. Perhaps I will even join the strike force myself. It’s been far too long since I’ve gotten out of here to crack a few skulls.

Awaken! My beloved brothers and sisters.
It has happened! The Sleeper has heard all our pleas and prayers. Not only did He, in His infinite grace and wisdom, punish the unbelievers of the New Camp – no, He also granted me a vision! A vision that entrusts us with a new sacred mission. There, in the ravine within the newly revealed lands, we are to march and proclaim the Words of Power. For there it rests – an artifact of ancient might! An artifact of the Sleeper Himself. We must find it and claim its power for our own. For only in this way can the divine Sleeper be freed and grant us the long-awaited freedom we so desperately desire. But we must be wary. Wary of the efforts of the other camps. They are greedy, they are blinded, and they are not to be trusted under any circumstances. Assemble an expedition and set forth into the Valley of Hope. Seek the holy artifact and fulfill your destiny!
